When you apply for the Nnamdi Azikiwe University JUPEB programme, we collect personally identifiable information required for admission processing. This includes, but is not limited to: your name, contact information, O-level records and certificate, school history, sponsor details, passport photograph, and payment routing data.

- Admissions Processing: To evaluate your academic qualifications for JUPEB admission.
- Communication: To send critical updates regarding your application status, interviews, and institutional news.
- Payments: To securely process application and programme fees.
- Compliance: To satisfy statutory reporting requirements of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) and relevant Federal agencies.
3. Data Security and NDPR Compliance
NAU JUPEB adheres strictly to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). We utilize industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL) to protect your data in transit, and secured infrastructure to protect data at rest. We do not sell applicant records or personal data to unaffiliated third parties.
4. Data Retention
Application data for unsuccessful candidates will be retained for up to two academic calendar years before secure deletion. Data for admitted students will be naturally migrated to the core university student information system and retained indefinitely as per academic record-keeping standards.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, or formally request deletion of your applicant profile (if you choose to withdraw your application). To exercise these rights, please contact our administrative desk.
